Open world, procedurally-generated, singleplayer & multiplayer, survival, crafting, building & fighting indie game made by one person
Oxelcraft features large, up to 1000km x 1000km, procedurally-generated on the fly worlds, featuring small and large islands, archipelagos, mountains and caves.
Oxelcraft world comes in a form of biomes, including a winter (snowy) biome and a desert (sandy) biome.
Oxelcraft features both singleplayer and online mode, so you share world with other players!
Oxelcraft environments are fully destroyable. Everything can be damaged and harvested into the base materials. Thanks to my voxels engine, you can realistically dig in the ground, both to get materials and to build your base. You can cut down grass, chop down trees, destroy rocks.
Oxelcraft buildings are also destroyable and they feature a physics-based support system. Destroying pillars under the house will cause the whole building to collapse.
Oxelcraft provides a lot of interactions with the game environment. Materials can be just collected from ground, like sticks and rocks lying around. More interesting items can sometimes be found on the shore or in the ocean. Plants and rocks can be futher harvested with certain tools that you can craft from base materials, you can also hunt animals or find the seeds and plant them to make your own farm.
Oxelcraft is not just about survival, it also features various quick-paced minigames and game modes, including:
In Oxelcraft you can travel on land, water and in air! Build a jeep to drive around, build a boat to explore the ocean, and build a helicopter to fly over the islands.
Oxelcraft is not limited to just cars, boats and helicopters. You can also build a railway and drive mine carts around. There is no size limit to your railway and you can even make rail splits and turns. This can be very useful for establishing a mine or a quarry that isn't directly on your main base area.
In Oxelcraft, you can either find clothes in wrecks, boxes and shipments, or craft them yourself. Collect required materials, build a clothing wheel and a sewing stand and start your production.
Some items may be impossible or hard to craft. That's why you need to also loot the the crashed planes on land and ship wrecks at the bottom of the ocean. The vehicle wrecks are not useful just for looting - you can later scrap them into the base materials like metal or plastic or mechanical parts.
Oxelcraft world is so large that it makes sense to explore it with a helicopter. Helicopter is one of the most expensive and hardest vehicles to craft in the game, but once it's build, it can take up to two players and one crate of items.
Cooking is crucial in Oxelcraft - drinking dirty water and eating raw meat is possible, but not recommended! It will replenish your hunger and thirst stats, but it will degrade your health! That's why you need to build a campfire quickly. Make sure you hav enough wood for each cooking session. Later you can also use a grill for the same purpose. Grill, on the other hand, requires some coal to run.
Oxelcraft world is full of animals - some of them are scared of you and will just run away, and some of them may attack you if startled. Animals can be hunted and harvested for food and materials. You can get a lot of meat that way, but it's important to remember to cook the meat first over the fireplace or on grill.
